Junibacken is located at Djurgården, which is a frequently visited green island in central Stockholm with many museums, an amusement park, and vast, green recreational areas.

Those who would like to transfer to Junibacken together meet up at the entrance of Aula Magna at 17.15 on Tuesday, 19/6.

  • From the University we take any southbound metro train (on the platform to the right) and get off at Östermalmstorg, the third stop.
  • We exit in the direction of the train.
  • From here, some of us will walk and some of us will take the tram to Junibacken, which is 1,7 km away.
  • The tram leaves from Nybroplan, 300 m from Östermalmstorg.
  • We take tram number 7 and get off after the bridge Djurgårdsbron at the stop called Nordiska Museet/Vasamuseet.
  • The building in front of you is Nordiska Museet. Passing that building on the right side, you will find Junibacken 200 meters behind it, in the park. The address is Galärvarvsvägen 8.

Leaving Junibacken, you can use public transportation from Nordiska Museet. The tram leaves every 7-10 minutes until 23.27. You can get off at Nybroplan, or go on to the last stop. From there, you have T-centralen a few hundred meters ahead.

There are also several buses leaving from the other side of the bridge, Djurgårdsbron.

From Östermalmstorg you can either walk or take the tram to Junibacken, which is 1,7 km away.
